Go with the technological surprises of the first of the year, even before CES 2020. After some rumors that increased in recent weeks, finally the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite are official, thus completing the already nourished line of Galaxy S10 2019 with two more basic options.
Thus, with the last name “Lite” these two somewhat more contained alternatives are added assuming an alternative to those that we already considered base within the two large families of Samsung flagships: the Samsung Galaxy S10e and the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 (without ” + “). Of course, as we said based on the abundant cascade of leaks are some “Lite” very little “Lite .

The wake of the Note 10 continues to survive that of the S10: central hole for the camera
One of the features that least fits the high-end Samsung as we know it traditionally is the resolution, since both models have FullHD + screens . In this case both integrate the same screen, both diagonally and resolution, being Infinity-O 6.7 inch SuperAMOLED panels, the manufacturer’s name for the hole for the front camera.
In this way, it seems that the option of integrating the front camera to a corner is repeated, repeating the aesthetics that we saw in the Note 10 . A front in which the frames are greatly reduced as in their predecessors, having a little more chin and the headset is integrated very subtly in the upper part.
In the rear they also look alike, although seeing modules for the triple camera somewhat different from what we saw in the S10 and Note 10 series. Both have it in the upper left corner of the rear, but the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite is rectangular and the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite square, later we will see the differences in the cameras.
A different brain for each one
Although in both cases we see that there are options of 6 or 8 GB of RAM (another reason perhaps for that surname Lite, since Android already begins to be more common to see it in the mid-range and up to 10 and 12 GB in the high), but while the S and the Note of the same year usually share a processor, in the case of these two new members we see differences. Although the manufacturer has not specified the processors, the data provided in its data sheets match the Snapdragon 855 for the S10 Lite and the Exynos 9810 for the Note 10 Lite (the same as the Galaxy S9 ), so the latter takes an older chip (of 2018) and 10 nanometers.
Beyond this curious choice of the Korean manufacturer, the tie continues at the level of software and other components. Android 10 with One UI for both, with Bixby and all the services of the customization layer, with a battery of 4,500 milliamps per hour and fast charging that they have not specified at the moment and that may be 45 watts as we saw in the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ (it seems that they do not integrate reverse charge as we saw in the Samsung Galaxy S10 + ).
The Note 10 Lite also comes with the S Pen , the hallmark of this line that does not give up what is now the most basic option of the same in its last generation. The pointer also supports the same functions that we saw in its predecessors, so it becomes an alternative for those looking for the handling and the additions that this stylus implies in the user-device interaction.Cameras: to choose between approaching in one way or anotherAs for photography, the Galaxy S10 Lite integrates a wide-angle main camera along with a 48-megapixel sensor, with an ultra-wide angle of 123 degrees and a macro like squires. The manufacturer also aims to improve stabilization with the new Super Steady Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS), which acts both in video and photography in the main camera.
