South Korea’s agicultural authorities confirmed Saturday yet one more case of extremely pathogenic hen flu amid rising issues over a chronic battle towards the animal illness.
The newest case of the H5N8 pressure of avian influenza was recognized at an egg farm that raises 550,000 chickens in Chungju, 147 kilometers south of Seoul, based on the Ministry of Agriculture, Meals and Rural Affairs.
A journey ban inside a 10-kilometer radius of the farm has already been imposed. Birds and poultry on the farm and close by areas might be culled as a safety measure.
The nation has reported 106 circumstances of hen flu traced to poultry farms since November final 12 months. (Yonhap)
